Associate Director – Remote

What are we looking for?

The Associate Director is responsible for providing regulatory affairs consulting and operational support for the Intertek Assuris Food & Nutrition team.

What you'll do:

  • Regulatory Affairs and Scientific Consulting: Engage in regulatory and toxicology consultative tasks, including but not limited to International Regulatory Principle Review and Toxicological Safety Assessments. Expectation of approximately 50% of workload will be attributed to billable work.
  • Team Management: Take on direct reports as assigned. Approximately 25% of workload will be attributed to managing and mentoring direct reports.
  • Business Development: Lead efforts to introduce new work products such as medical device consulting. Approximately 25% of workload will be attributed to these efforts.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

  • PhD in Toxicology, Regulatory Affairs or related field
  • 15+ years of experience in toxicology, regulatory affairs, and/or product safety assessments
  • This is a remote position; however, applicants must reside in and be able to legally work in the United States. 

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of leading regulatory submissions, managing cross-functional teams, and facilitating global compliance with regulations.
  • Experience in risk assessments, hazard exposure analysis, and the development of weight of evidence assessments for human safety.

Salary & Benefits Information

The base wage or salary range for this position is up to $130,000 USD. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
