Position Description:

 Assist in the design, research, and development of leading edge SATCOM solutions for US Government and DoD customers.  Evaluate critical leading edge SATCOM technology and determine how we can integrate with 5G and cellular technologies.  Develop and conduct technology demonstrations with customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and conduct demonstrations on the Space V4 mini satellite terminal
  2. Integrate and test 3rd party applications tied to the Intelsat V4 mini ruggedized MATE product
  3. Review daily Satellite news on new technology and industry developments and recommend areas for further business development
  4. Work on new government satellite $400M program doing engineering testing

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  1.  Major in computer engineering, physics, or other engineering disciplines
  2. Experience / classes in wireless communications or radio-frequency technology a plus
  3. Experience with networking a plus

 

12 Week Schedule: 

  • Week 1-3: Training on Intelsat products, development of work plan
  • Week 4-6: Initial assignment of V4 mini/ MATE/ satellite PTS-G program tasks
  • Week 7-10: Execution of testing, demonstrations with customers
  • Week 10-12: Wrap up, complete testing.  Generate test reports for the various programs

 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Eligible candidates must be one of the following:
    • Part-time or full-time students who have completed 24+ credit hours (rising sophomores/juniors/seniors) and are enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university; Part-time or full-time students enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited college or university
    • May 2025 graduate 
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, professionalism, and maturity in the workplace
  • Effective communicator in both written and spoken English
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in use of MSOffice Suite
  • 3.0 GPA or above preferred
  • This role is subject to ITAR/EAR; candidates must be a US Person (this includes US Citizen, Permanent Resident or Protected Individual such as an asylee or refugee).

Summer Intern Program Description:

  • Paid ; 12 weeks starting on Monday, May 26, 2025 through August 15, 2025
  • Schedule - 40 hours/week, Monday- Friday, 9 – 5 or regular core hours
  • Hybrid environment (minimum 3 days in office location)
