Job Description

The role of the RN Supervisor is to support the Denaina Wellness Center by providing leadership, supervision, training and assistance to the Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) and Nurse Case Managers. The RN Supervisor works closely with healthcare providers to ensure that they are fully supported. The RN Supervisor will also support triage, physical examination, and medical interventions. The RN Supervisor is responsible for ensuring competency of their staff. The RN Supervisor serves as back up Immunization Coordinator.

Skills and Requirements

Education

· Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree, or an Associates Degree in Nursing with supervisory experience

Experience

· Five (5) years nursing experience 3 of which have to be as a supervisor

License/Certification

· Registered Nurse in the state of Alaska

· Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers Knowledge and experience working with cultural diversities null
