The Observation Unit (Obs) at Loudoun Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for Full-Time, Days. The patient population consists of cardiac, neurological, medical, and surgical patients. Learn the fast-paced atmosphere of an ER setting while gaining critical medical/surgical nursing skills.
The Observation Unit (Obs) at Loudoun Hospital is a 27-bed unit with a rapid patient turnover of admission and discharges. Sign-On/Relocation Bonus Information: This position is eligible for a competitive Sign-On Bonus. Candidates who are relocating 50 miles or further are also eligible for relocation assistance.
Schedule: Full-Time, Nights (3- 12 hour shifts)
Requirements: Requires a minimum of 1-year Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting
Minimum Education Requirement: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must be within 1 year of completing their BSN.
Minimum Licensure/ Certification Requirement:
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Virginia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start.
- Specialty certification (as required by unit) within 1 year from date of hire.
- Completion of revised Charge Nurse Workshop within the first 90-days of employment.
