We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Response Nurse to play a vital role in ensuring patient safety and responding to urgent clinical situations across the hospital. This leadership position requires someone who is calm under pressure, independent in decision-making, and excellent at communication and collaboration. You will be a key resource for clinical teams, working closely with the Administrative Director and building strong relationships with providers. Shift: 12 hour night shift 7-7:30
Schedule: full time and part time flexible self-scheduling
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary responder to MSET, Rapid Response, STEMI, inpatient Stroke Alerts, and Trauma Activations.
- Collaborate with providers and escalate care as needed to ensure patient outcomes.
- Assist with assessments, mentoring, and provide expert advice to clinical staff.
- Respond to MEWS and high-risk patient calls, providing real-time critical support.
- Round on high-risk patients and assist with sepsis screening and rapid response reassessments.
- Facilitate clinical debriefs and closed-loop communication for continuity of care.
Qualifications:
- RN with advanced critical care or emergency care required.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to remain calm in emergency situations.
- Strong critical thinking, quick prioritization, and independent decision-making abilities.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and lead without formal authority.

Requirements:
- 4+ years of critical care or emergency room RN experience preferred
- Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. - If RN has an associate degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date
- BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification (American Heart Association) required
- ACLS (American Heart Association) required
- NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC preferred or obtained prior to end of orientation
