- BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, TNCC, NIH Certification, Ascension CPI, Ascension EKG Exam, Ascension Core Competencies, and Ascension Ascension Pharmacology Exam certifications must be AHA and are required for onboarding.

- Providing nursing care in full service Emergency Room to include triage and patient rooms.
- Job Requirements
- Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals.
- Nursys quick confirm verifications should be completed for all APRN, RN's and LPN/LVNs.
- Nursys should be used to review ALL license activity in all states, not just the state of placement.
- Copy of the physical license is not required.
- Nursing only Michigan hospitals need their licensure verified through LARA not NURSYs.
- Pharmacology 1,2 exam required
- HIPAA, Joint Commission -NPSG, OSHA Topics
- Non Violent Crisis Intervention Training. Required to be an 8 hr course.
- If placement is in a state other than home state/issuing state of compact license for RNs, address on Driver's license must match the home state for the compact license.
- If positive TB record; Requires Proof of Chest X-Ray within last 1 year to be accompanied by TB questionnaire.
- Exemptions are NOT accepted for some areas.
- If Negative titer, must have booster vaccine
- Exemptions are NOT accepted for persons working in the following areas: Potential contact with pediatrics/infants, mon-immune pregnant women (L&D areas), non-immune immunosuppressed patients (oncology, transplant, etc.)

- Exam and answer key found in Document Library. Agency is required to give and grade the test. Score needs to be 90% or higher with only 2 attempts.
- Optional for Onboarding, but needs to be uploaded by our Ascension unit leader within a week.

- Qualifying reference(s) completed prior to first assignment. At least two professional references
- Include Social Security Trace, Employment Verification, OIG Search and National Sex Offender. Completion of: 7 year search for-SSN Trace, County Resided and Employed search, National Criminal, OFAC, and VSOP completed within 30 days of first assignment. Updated every 1 year thereafter or if break in service > 90 days, must run counties listed during break in service.
