Ingram Content Group (ICG)is for a 3PL Coordinator to contribute to our Operations team in Chambersburg, PA.

What you will do:

  • Performs duties such as receiving books, quality control of books, and picking and packing of books using the PKMS system.
  • Stocks shelves, verifies title locations, determine proper packing methods, enters and moves shipments.
  • Verifies data in the specified locations which might include but is not limited to such duties as customer orders, titles and locations.
  • Utilizes motorized equipment to stage IPS orders in assigned areas by carrier
  • Schedules shipments with carriers according to requirements set forth by ILG Transportation
  • Responds to customer inquiries
  • Communicates inquiries and communicates information to carriers on a daily basis
  • Trouble shoots and solves problems with IPS work orders
  • Communicates specific directions to all parties involved in expediting orders
  • Tracks shipping schedule status and updates IPS Transportation Link
  • Communicates special IPS requirements with Operations Leadership
  • Verifies International orders and documentation for compliance
  • Converts weights from pounds to metric to insure accurate shipping
  • Initiates and monitors corrective action to ensure shipments meet timelines
  • Reviews the status of cartons (actual vs. estimated) in PKMS
  • Generates bills of lading
  • Verifies (Visually) shipment documentation matches product on the dock
  • Assembles required documentation for all shipments
  • Performs general clerical duties

Essential Physical Demands

  • Ability to walk and stand continuously during the assigned shift
  • Ability to lift/carry in full range of motion up to 45lbs during the assigned shift – 45lbs or less frequently
  • Ability to push/pull in a warehouse environment up to 40lbs force to push during the assigned shift – 35lbs or less frequently and 36-50lbs occasionally
  • Ability to grip/grasp continuously during the assigned shift
  • Ability to bend, squat/kneel, twist/turn, climb, crawl, reach above shoulder, and type/keyboard frequently during the assigned shift
  • Ability to work designated shift including overtime as required, which could include time before or after the designated shift and/or weekends
  • Exposure to wide range of temperatures

What you'll need:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 1 year warehouse operations experience
  • 6 months work experience which includes walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, reaching above shoulders, typing/keyboard
