The Patient and Family Advocate role falls under the quality department, whose mission is making sure that our patients are receiving the best quality of care, and all safety protocols are in place. The Patient and Family Advocate is assigned to the Emergency Department waiting room to advocate for patients and their families by communicating issues and concerns and seeking resolution through appropriate channels. Provides comfort to patients in the waiting room.
