Medical Director of Operating Room and Peri-Operative Services Report To:# Executive Team Member# Holyoke Medical Center is searching for a Medical Director of the Operating Room and Peri-Operative#Services.# This will be a practicing physician leader, anesthesiologist (preferred) or a surgeon who will provide medical oversight for all operations in the operating room.# The physician will have 50% administrative and 50% clinical responsibilities.# This is a high level leadership opportunity that#will report directly to a member of the executive team with the goal to coordinate and assist in the effective#operations of the operating room and related areas for both medical and supervision.# Qualification # Job Requisites Education: Graduate of an accredited school of medicine; completion of a residency program in either anesthesia or surgery at a U. S. Hospital Licenses/Registrations: Current license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; current DEA license and#Massachusetts DPH controlled substance registration;# Board certified anesthesiology or surgery.# Anesthesiology preferred.# Experience: A practicing experienced physician, anesthesiologist preferred, or a surgeon
