Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc., a privately-held company based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is looking for a qualified individual to fill a Benefits Representative position in our Corporate Benefits Department. The Benefits Representative is an hourly, non-exempt position responsible for providing assistance and expertise in enrollment, communication, and administration of employee benefits.

Responsibilities include:
- Processing Health, Life, LTD, and Flexible Spending benefits elections and changes
- Processing Change in Status and Special Enrollment Events for benefits
- Assisting with Online Enrollment System design and audits
- Generating and processing weekly Flexible Spending Reports and Flexible Spending Audit
- Assisting and responding to Life Insurance and LTD claim inquiries
- Processing and responding to Qualified Medical Child Support Orders
- Conducting weekly, monthly and quarterly audits for the Health Plan
- Problem solving with employees and third-party administrators
- Understanding and interpreting plan documents
- Distributing new hire packets
- Performing other tasks as assigned
Requirements
Requirements include:
- 2-3 years of verifiable benefits experience preferred
- Knowledge of 401(k), ERISA, HIPAA, and Health Care Reform regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with HRIS benefits systems (SAP preferred)
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate, verbal and written, with employees, vendors and co-workers
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team structure
- Saturday work may be required at times
