What You'll Do:

The main role of a PACU nurse is to monitor patients' vital signs, airway, and consciousness as they wake up from anesthesia.
They assess pain levels and administer medications to control pain and nausea.

What You'll Bring:

•Active NJ RN license, BSN degree
•Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience.
•Experience in Level 1 trauma PACU
•At least 1 year of critical care prior to PACU experience
•ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications
•COVID Vaccination-Fully vaccinated with 1 booster
•Self-sufficient, but also knows their resources and when to ask questions.
•36 Hours per week. Shift 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM (10a/11a flex)
•1-2 weekends (Sat/Sun) every 6-week schedule.
•No holiday requirement.
•No On-Call requirement.
•No blocked scheduling- will not be guaranteed 3 days in a row.
•Facility will only grant 4 RTO days

Hired by Matrix Job ID #24-01831-1. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
