BLS Life Support Instructor - Employee Education - PRN Days

GENERAL SUMMARY:
+ Plan, coordinate, provide, and evaluate adult learning educational activities.
+ Develop, implement and evaluate educational plans/programs and utilizes methods, measurements and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.
+ Collaborate with managers and staff to assess the learning needs of staff and new hires.
+ Serve as a resource for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development.
+ Maintain credentials required for certification.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
One or more of the following required:
+ Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
+ BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
+ Certified Instructor specializing in Advanced Cardio Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
+ Pediatric Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred. -
+ Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing preferred.
EDUCATION
+ High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required. No additional preferences.
