Essential Duties:

  • Learns what is expected of a Engineer in this industry
  • Reports progress and status
  • Completes assigned tasks on time and budget while meeting technical requirements
  • Complies with Engineering Playbook and best practice procedures
  • Embraces initiatives
  • Conducts limited scope testing under the supervision of engineers
  • Gathers and assembles data for engineers
  • Conducts design analysis and/or calculations under the supervision of engineers
  • Assists engineers with appropriate design details
  • Performs a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the engineering staff, methods, programs and practices
  • Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Adheres to all quality and safety standard
  • Supports other projects and performs other duties as assigned

Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:

  • HS Diploma; Must be enrolled in an accredited Engineering program
  • Receives and follows direction
  • Interacts professionally with teammates and colleagues
  • Possesses basic oral and written communication skills
  • Possesses quality orientation and high attention to detail
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with customers, vendors, employees and managers at all levels within the company
  •  Possesses strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in standard business software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office)
