BASIC FUNCTION HCSC is looking for a dynamic individual to join its Payroll Team in the Richardson TX office! Under supervision, this position will be responsible for processing tasks in support of a broad range of payroll set-up and maintenance; answering payroll questions in person, by phone, via email or AskHR cases. Incumbent will also set up and maintain credit union deposits in addition to processing garnishment requests, preparing wage verifications and pulling subpoena information and processing returned year-end W-2s and performing other payroll duties as necessary. This role is hybrid/flex, requiring three days in the office per week and working from home the other two days. NOTE: sponsorship will not be offered, relocation is not available ~JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1 year of clerical/support experience.
- Strong service orientation and has a desire to serve the customer.
- Ability to communicate with a broad range of employees across the organization via email, telephone and in person.
- PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Workday.
- Strong math / computing skills and 10-key experience.
- Strong analytical skills.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Advanced Workday proficiency.
- Strong payroll processing.
- Knowledge of HCSC benefits and employee policies.
