This position is responsible for managing health care fraud and internal fraud investigations with a focus on Medicare; managing and training investigators and support staff; establishing and maintaining liaison with health care providers and law enforcement; and coordinating anti-fraud activities with other departments at HCSC.JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor Degree.
- 5 years law enforcement/investigation experience, including supervision of cases and investigators.
- 1 year of experience in a management/supervisory or leadership capacity
- Organizational skills, results oriented with demonstrated leadership skills.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Accredited Healthcare Fraud Investigator (AHFI), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), and/or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
- Medicare Fraud, Waste and Abuse investigations experience.
- Extensive knowledge of Medicare rules and regulations.
- Experience liaising with CMS and federal law enforcement (U.S. Attorneys' Offices, the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (HHS-OIG), FBI).
HYBRID role requires reporting to the office 3 days per week.

Compensation: $90,900.00 - $164,200.00
