Job Summary The Manager, Client Coordinators is responsible for the day-to-day supervision and management of a team of client coordinators enabling the department to meet its client and corporate commitments. Client Coordinators work with various departments within Health Benefits to promptly respond to client questions, facilitate resolutions to concerns, run client specific reports and provide support to Client Managers. Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to, successful achievement of team quality, production and service expectations, staff development, successful implementation of new clients into the Unit, and retention of existing clients. The Manager is responsible for answering complex or difficult claim or client service questions, advising team members regarding client procedures, and providing support to ensure all department goals are met. The Manager is expected to have greater visibility and accountability than a Client Coordinator. This position may also involve client facing responsibilities such as employee meeting presentations, benefit fairs and attending quarterly and renewal meetings with client managers. Limited travel could be required with possible overnight stays. Internal project participation is an expectation of the role.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years previous experience in a similar TPA or insurance environment; customer service/client management experience required
  • 1 year of management or leadership experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as are exceptional organizational skills
  • Good understanding of self-funding and employee benefit plans
  • Knowledge and understanding of benefit-related federal laws (i.e., ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, PPACA, etc.) preferred
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  •  Analytical skills, problem solving skills, reading ability, creative decision making skills, the ability to comprehend and follow instructions, mathematical ability and time management skills are required
  • Ability to travel may be needed
  • Ability to assess and mentor team members to maximize team success and growth

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • State insurance license

The salary offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan.

Min to Max Range:

$55,300.00 - $103,800.00
