Job Summary Responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing and vendor relationship partner strategies for assigned vendors. Manages the selection, acquisition and monitoring of contractual agreements for hardware, software, and IT services for the Enterprise for assigned vendors. Works closely with the business and IT to understand their needs & serves as the IT point of contact for purchases, deliveries and problems with products and services. Articulates and negotiates service level agreements. Works with Asset Management to ensure appropriate use of corporate funds. Drives partnerships with tech providers like Microsoft to optimize service delivery and operational efficiency. With the Microsoft portion of the role, will be expected to work with matrixed internal IT relationships in support of measuring, monitoring, and adjusting our Microsoft support and licensing to achieve maximum value for the spend.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Information Technology.
  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience working in IT and/or a vendor/contract management role.
  • 3+ years prior experience working with Microsoft as a partner for contracting and support – or having worked with Microsoft clients as a Microsoft client-partner.  (I.e. worked with or for Microsoft.)
  • Proven history in IT vendor relationship management, including experience with Microsoft vendor management, be it from the supplier or customer standpoint.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, planning, and critical thinking skills.
  • In-depth understanding of Microsoft's contracting and renewal processes and support structure.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret vendor contracts. 
  • Ability to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally all requirements, contract redlines, and business correspondence. 
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Luminare Health staff and our suppliers.
  • Need to guide and drive Luminare Health IT staff on Microsoft value maximization.
  • Ability to understand, negotiate, and track committed contract spend for any given vendor contract we engage in.  Planned spend is tracked in Excel utilizing formulas and pivot tables per vendor, per contract.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

The salary offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan.

Min to Max Range:

$85,600.00 - $160,700.00
