This position is responsible for developing, drafting, and negotiating specific reimbursement contracts with all non-hospital institutional (ancillary) providers for all lines of business statewide. Acts as a contact for provider questions and resolves issues regarding contracts and reimbursement forwarded by provider relations.Required Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in business
2 years experience in a managed care environment, including contracting and/or reimbursement experience.
Knowledge of the provider community and managed care.
Clear and concise interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of provider contracting methodology and payor roles, responsibilities, and challenges.
Understanding of health care financing, access issues, delivery systems, quality controls, and related healthcare legislation.
Experience with negotiating contracts and payment methodology knowledge.
Experience with Single Case Agreement negotiations.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
Salesforce knowledge
Behavioral Health experience
Contract Management system knowledge
- Microsoft Excel and Word experience
This is a Flex (Hybrid) role: 3 days in office; 2 days remote.
