Outstanding opportunity to join a national leader in Neuroscience. The Ayer Neuroscience Institute at Hartford HealthCare has a new opportunity available for a Neurosurgery Physician Assistant to join our Advanced Practice team at St. Vincent's Medical Center, located in Bridgeport, CT.

Practice autonomously, but collaboratively with a team of attending neurosurgeons and APPs providing specialized care to spine patients including MIS and deformity, intracranial cases, neurovascular, peripheral nerve, and neurotrauma.

Job details:

  • Managing neurosurgical spine and brain patients on the floor and ICU setting.
  • Intake H&PEs, progress notes consultations, post-operative care, and discharges.
  • Providing neurosurgical consultations in the hospital and in the Emergency Dept.
  • First assisting the attending neurosurgeon with any emergency procedure.
  • Shifts include 7am-7:30pm or 7am-3:30pm.

Job requirements:

BE/BC Neurologist with Surgical background preferred (trauma, general, or neuro)
