Certification Details
• ACLS is required for ICU
• Preferred for OR, Not required for MS/TELE unit
• BLS not required for Sterile Processing Techs, Laboratory Assistants, or Med Lab Technicians at UWMC
• Required for 8SA
• CCRN - Critical Care RN
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course required for ER RNs
• Tech Cert Verification - National for certain roles
• Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing is necessary for various units
• State License 1 Verification required
• NIH Stroke Certification required for specific units

• Shift: Nights 3 - 12 Hours 1900-0730
• Duration: 18-20 Weeks
• Holiday RTO Restrictions: Travelers can have 1 of 3 major holidays, and 3 days additional RTO non-holiday days (not blocked) during a non major holiday week 11/22-12/1, 12/22-12/27, 12/28-1/5
• Ratio: 1: 1-2
• Years of experience REQ: 2 years, HARDSTOP: Trauma and/or Surgical ICU experience required.

• Weekend REQ: Yes, every other
