Description
The Human Resource Manager – Supply Chain oversees and leads Human Resource practices and objectives that provide an associate-oriented; high performing culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and standards; goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce within the warehouse environment. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for policy compliance and the development of processes and metrics that support the achievement of the organization's business goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinates the implementation of associate related services, policies and programs through collaboration with the Corporate Human Resources teams; and assists and advises company managers about Human Resources issues.
- Manages and resolves complex associate relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of associates, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with Corporate legal department as needed/required.
- Provides day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Coordinates management training and compliance in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment prevention.
- Writes and delivers presentations to upper management regarding human resources policies and practices.
- Monitors performance management programs.
- Assists with the development of policies and programs to attract, retain and promote a diverse workforce for the organization.
- Works closely with management and associates to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
- Advises management in appropriate resolution of associate relations issues.
- Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, succession planning.
- Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
- Participates in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs. Follow-up to ensure training objectives are met.
- Conducts scheduled meetings with respective business units.
- Consults with line management providing HR guidance when appropriate.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Manages and develops a staff of HR professionals

Requirements
Education and Experience
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of the resolution of complex employee relation issues.
- Min 5+ years of progressive experience in HR roles within a fast paced environment
- Min 3+ years demonstrated experience leading and developing high performing teams, successfully motivating and influencing the work of others
- Active PHR/SPHR SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or similar certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment law and standard methodologies in conducting workplace investigations
- Strong conflict management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results.
- Effectively envision, develop, and implement new strategies to address competitive, complex business issues.

Must be able to perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices, without endangering the health or safety of self or others.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $96,100 – $144,200 depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to Associates (and their families) such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 200 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays). Paid sick time up to 80 hours per year unless otherwise required by law.
