Our Intensivist group, all formally trained in Critical Care, come from backgrounds of Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, Geriatrics, Infectious Disease, Thoracic Surgery, and Anesthesiology. Halifax Health has an excellent employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Critical Care Physician. This is an exciting opportunity for the right Critical Care Physician to be part of a well-established practice. - 40 – 50 patients daily in a large Tertiary Care and Level II Trauma facility
- 36 total ICU Rooms
- One week on, one week off (12-hour shifts)
- Shared night shift call
- Opportunities for extra shifts in ICU or consult work elsewhere in the system
- Physician Governance Council allows for physician input into strategic planning and operational policies for the employed physician group
