Reporting to the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor at HMH Specialty Pharmacy, the Specialty Pharmacy Shipping and Logistics Coordinator oversees the receipt, storage, retrieval, mailing, and coordination of prescription drug and medical supply orders essential to the specialty pharmacy's operation. The role also involves maintaining precise documentation related to order receipt, storage, shipping, and any additional handling of prescriptions at HMH Specialty Pharmacy. Moreover, the position entails collaborating with specialty pharmacy leadership on shipping and logistics matters and creating essential analytic reports and dashboards for URAC, ACHC, and other specialty pharmacy accreditations in partnership with the specialty pharmacy staff.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

1. High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
2. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
3. Minimum of three (3) years of previously effective pharmacy technician experience in Hospital, Retail, or Specialty Pharmacy.
4. Must be comfortable using multiple software programs.
5. Must be organized and possess effective time management skills.
6. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and written.
7. Detail-oriented (or ability to perform duties with the highest degree of accuracy).

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

1. Specialty Pharmacy
2. Epic/Willow Ambulatory

Licenses and Certifications Required:

1. Pharmacy Technician License.
2. PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician or certified within 6 months of hire.
