Description
We have an exciting opening for an Orthopaedic Physician Assistant.
Our primarily Work Comp multi-physician practice is in need of a PA to assist in all aspect of Ortho clinic. Ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
Duties will include patient histories; follow up patient exams, intra-articular injections, medication management, reviewing diagnostic studies, and formulating treatment plans. Opportunity for surgical first assist. No call, weekends, or holidays. Orthopaedic / Sports Med / Spine / CA work comp experience a plus but will train the right candidate.
Basic Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved Physician Assistant Program.
- Current California Physician Assistant License
- National certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- DEA Registration Number required
- Prefer recent orthopedic experience
