Job Details
• Position / Specialty: Surgical Tech
• Shift: 5x8 Days/Eves (0700, 0900, 1100 start times). Able to accommodate 10 or 12hr shifts as well.
• Average Daily Census 30-40. 9 Rooms. 16 beds.
• Years of experience REQ: Minimum 2 years experience required
• First-timers accepted: Yes
• Weekend REQ: 1-2/ 6 weeks
• Is on-call REQ? Yes. 8-9.
• Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float as needed (CVI and Main OR)
• Open to accommodating block schedule? No.
• Locals accepted: Yes- no radius.
• Pending License accepted: Yes.
• RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.
• Guaranteed Hours: Client may cancel up to 3 shifts at any time for any assigned Candidate without any penalty or obligation to pay for such cancelled time. On-call hours do not count towards the guaranteed minimum hours.

Required Vascular Skills/Experience: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aortocaval fistula repair, Aortobifemoral bypass, Aortoenteric fistula repair, Arteriovenous fistula repair, Arteriovenous malformation surgery, Atherectomy, Carotid angioplasty, Carotid artery stenting, Carotid Endarterectomy, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Laparoscopic assisted cases, Renal artery bypass surgery, TEVAR (Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair), Vein stripping. Required Endoscopic Procedure Experience: Laparoscopic assisted cases. Required General Surgery Skills/Experience: Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Colon resection - Open/LAP, Hernia repair inguinal/umbilical, Laparoscopic assisted procedures. Required Ophthalmology Skills/Experience: Cataract extraction/implant, Corneal transplant, Eye trauma, Glaucoma surgery, Vitrectomy. Closed/Open reduction of fractures experience required. Da Vinci Xi Surgical System experience required. Amputation experience required. Required Urology Skills/Experience: Cystoscopy, Ureteroscopy. Required Equipment/Instrumentation/Supplies Skills/Experience: Care of scopes & fiber optic equipment, Case Cart, Crash Cart, Drills (multiple types), Electrosurgical units, Fiber optic light sources/cords, High level disinfectant (HLD). Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Aseptic Technique, Isolation Precautions, Laser Safety, Radiation Safety, Sharps Safety, Specimen Handling/labeling, Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure.
