WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Manager, Application Development & Agile Delivery will oversee the agile-focused enhancement and development of current applications while establishing a foundation for future product innovation. This role manages the end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), change management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure technology initiatives align with business goals. Serving as a bridge between IT and business
stakeholders, they will drive innovation, efficiency, and user satisfaction. Job duties include: Key Responsibilities:
· Application Development & Agile Oversight.
· Manage agile teams in the design, development, testing, and deployment of applications.
· Ensure the SDLC follows best practices in architecture, security, and performance.
· Work closely with business units to gather requirements and translate them into development roadmaps.
· Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of application initiatives.
Change & Release Management:
· Implement structured change management processes to ensure smooth rollouts of application updates and new features.
· Oversee agile release planning, ensuring seamless deployment with minimal disruptions.
· Develop training and adoption plans for end-users affected by system changes.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
· Act as a liaison between IT, business teams, and end users to ensure alignment of application strategies with organizational goals.
· Partner with department leaders to identify pain points and opportunities for process improvement through technology.
· Advocate for user-centric design principles and continuous feedback loops.
Governance & Compliance
· Ensure applications comply with IT security policies, industry regulations, and company governance standards.
· Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all changes and enhancements.
· Drive risk management strategies to mitigate potential system vulnerabilities.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
· Stay informed of emerging technologies (internal and external) and assess their potential impact on current and future applications.
· Foster a culture of continuous learning and agile maturity within the development teams.
· Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts.

YOUR MUST HAVES:
· 5 or more years of experience in application development, IT management, or agile software delivery.
· Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and SDLC best practices.
· Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
· Experience with change management frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, ITIL).
· Strong stakeholder engagement and business relationship management skills.
· Hands-on experience with cloud-based applications, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE:
· MBA.
· Experience in food safety, agriculture, or manufacturing industries is a plus.
· Certification in Agile (CSM, SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP) or Change Management (Prosci, ITIL).
· Familiarity with enterprise IT systems, data analytics, and automation tools.
OUR ENVIRONMENT:
This is a remote position based out of a home office, with occasional travel to corporate headquarters. The role primarily involves desk work and extended periods of computer use.
