To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Warehouse Manager located in Columbia, SC.

Reporting to the Material Director the Warehouse Manager  implements a successful operation by managing all distribution, warehouse functions. Provides materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services, supervising staff.

What a typical day looks like:

• Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Complies with local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
• Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Monitors volume of business and defines appropriate work schedule.
• Sets productivity and establishes necessary controls to ensure objectives are met.
• Monitors condition and maintenance of operating / material handling equipment.
• Constantly monitors the efficient handling of shipments and receipts to create an error free culture.
• Reviews the loading and unloading schedules to maximize efficiencies and reduce expenses.
• Coordinate floor cycle counts, physical inventory, and reconciling records.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical
• situations.
• Demonstrates mastery of functional knowledge in relation to other functions and a complete understanding of the function and those of related businesses.
•  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Ability to Lead teams, drive change/best practice.
•  Ability to analyze Inventory raw data and create Inventory strategies for effective use of space and pull practices
• Ability to proactively plan future warehouse needs
• Ability to train team members in Analysis / Mentor and Grow team capability
• Experience in Organization reassignment activity to better serve the needs of the business
• Experience in ground up Warehouse set up / 3 PL outsourcing
• To Define, Train, Implement/Institutionalize KOI's and dashboards
• Ability to Monitor KOI's and Dashboards to develop strategies to strengthen challenged areas
