To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Supply Chain Analyst located in Austin, TX.
Reporting to the VP of Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning, the Supply Chain Analyst role involves managing customer interactions regarding strategic materials for key accounts, as well as collaborating with the material managers to create and implement GPSC reports and analyze data trends to assist with business decision-making.
What a typical day looks like:
- Drive sourcing and pricing strategies for materials while presenting material benefits to influence customer preferences.
- Engage with customers/suppliers on new projects and manage component costs at all levels.
- Develop and implement flexibility and supply assurance plans, along with cost reduction strategies.
- Identify opportunities for increasing turnkey business and develop materials management plans.
- Track materials' financial performance, initiate corrective actions, and coordinate sourcing strategies with Supply Management.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain (or equivalent work experience).
- 1-2 years relevant work experience.
- Strong negotiation, presentation and organizational skills.
- Understanding of cost accounting and knowledge of price trends and relevant technologies.
- Background in electronics manufacturing and OEM product development processes.
- Proficient in MS Office.
