In Hungary Flex operates in 7 cities – Budapest, Gyál, Üllő, Nyíregyháza, Sárvár, Tab, Zalaegerszeg – with around 10 000 employees.

We are looking for new colleague in our team in Tab for the following position:

Supplier Quality Engineer

What a typical day looks like:

  • Select the suitable supplier with jointed effort of sourcing on aspects of quality, capability, pricing, delivery, environment, society regulation against customer requirements
  • Implement the new supplier qualification through the process of capability matching, supplier risk assessment, supplier self-assessment, onsite qualification audit, qualification database management
  • Understand customer drawing, specification to feedback value-added engineering proposal to customer and supplier for optimization of supplier manufacturing process or products
  • As part of the Material (Component) Qualification, perform Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) / First Article Inspection (FAI) management
  • Track the new qualified parts quality performance to ensure meet the customer quality requirements in pilot run phase
  • Drive supplier corrective action from supplier in Pilot Runs and smoothly transfer the pilot run to mass production
  • Work as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support on supplier quality hot issue and trouble shooting
  • Support the supplier to use the quality tools to improve manufacturing process and product quality

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • At least 1 year of practical experience in similar position
  • Communication level of English and confident use of Hungarian
  • The ability to read and analyze technical drawings, specifications
  • Analytical and problem-solving approach to work
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • The ability to multitask

Here are a few of our preferred experiences:

  • Knowledge of the eight disciplines (8D) model
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
