Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Subject Matter Expert - GBS Planning in Coimbatore, India.
What a typical day looks like:
- Handling Site Calls: Material Management
- Excellence in Planning Operations: Sales & Operations Planning / MPS / MRP / ECO / E&O Management
- WO / SO Management: Site + Pulse Review calls
- Escalation & Complaint Management related to People & operating model
- Escalation Management – Process related issues (L1)
- Drive Standardization and Automation
- Accountable for,
- BCP mgmt. & Operational Governance meeting (MBR/QBR)
- Site communications in alignment with regional team
- Improving site wise service level and playbook penetration
- VOP operations actions
- Process update; change management & Drive special projects
- Lead monthly/ quarterly interlock calls with site and regional directors
- Accountable for Quality systems Implementation.
- Setting of quality objective and related training
- Risk Assessment Audits: Internal
- Compliance in Internal and ISO Audits
- Audit Observation and actions closure [L1]
- Authority to stop process to correct quality problems
- Improving & sustaining Flex Voice Survey Satisfaction Level
- Attrition Management

- Proactively identifies and escalates potential issues related to metrics.
- Where applicable, suggest process/communication improvements relative to metric tracking activities.
- Tracks materials financial performance and initiate corrective actions when required.
- Daily review of RMA transactions.
- Create weekly purchase orders including all client parts.
- Receive data entry for clients.
- Update content list and item master.
- Prepare DPT packing list for LCAD repairing.
- Window to client material (consigned parts) supply.
- Window to client bulk RMA service.
- Specialized Job may be required for certain positions. These could include one or more of the following duties: May hold up inventory control, supply chain management, material planning and scheduling.
- Develop commodity spend profiles/breaks-downs: guide time profiling, inventory positioning, and site execution to price.
- Establish common pricing research tools.
- Provide detailed bill of materials research by site.
- Perform general reporting and activities for score carding of suppliers.
- Validate site pricing through implementation of a common cost review and pricing process.
- Assist in the supply chain transfer and risk management for NPI.
- Provide PPV targeting, tracking and asset velocity.
- Design, manage and control all data research tools
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or Engineering Graduates Experience: 8-12 yr. Planning/ Supply Chain, Team management, CFT management
- Mandatory Knowledge of computer software applications, MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint (PF)
- Integrated Demand Management: E2E Material Management Process
- Sales and Operations Planning: Knowledge and Experience
- People Management – Planning function
- Proficiency: ERP/P2P systems BAAN / SAP/ Oracle / Kinaxis / Pulse Knowledge of Engineering BOMs, product structure, EOL, ECO Management Knowledge of complete planning cycle including MPS, MRP, Demand Planning, Materials planning, Production planning.
- Communication: Communication, both verbal and written, is an important part of this role. The job holder is required to exchange information, ideas and views on business related matters concerning the Planning function, throughout the Company at all levels.
- Innovation: The jobholder is required to show a willingness to question traditional methodology and make recommendations on new ways of approaching problems and improving existing processes.
