To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Spare Parts Coordinator located in Columbia, SC.

Reporting to the Operations Engineering Manager the Spare Parts Coordinator role involves performing inspection and quality check reports.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Ensures materials are ordered and in stock to meet company requirements while maintaining acceptable inventory levels.
  • Selects, develops and evaluates materials from work area.
  • Evaluates technical and economic factors, recommending engineering and manufacturing actions for attainment of design objectives of process or product by applying knowledge of material science and related technologies.
  • Reviews plans for new product and factors, such as strength, weight, and cost to submit material selection recommendations ensuring attainment of design objectives.
  • Plans and implements laboratory operations to develop material and fabrication procedures for new materials to fulfill product cost and performance standards.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Typically requires completion of high school, vocational training, or equivalent with 4-6 years of related experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
  • Affects different areas by contributing to development of techniques or concepts. May assist in developing department goals/ targets.
  • May make decisions or recommendations for team. Decisions may affect specific functional area.
