Summary:
The “Quality Technician” will be in charge of performing product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs, first article inspections and calibration, inspecting flat blank layouts.
*Night Shift
10% shift differential
Responsibilities:
- Download and compile quality information from the quality management system for QA reports.
- Prepare graphs and charts of data; enter data into computer systems for research purposes.
- Adhere to SSYMA safety requirements (goggles, gloves, etc.).
- Evaluate quality data and prepare reports to validate compliance or identify deviations from standards.
- Conduct environmental area testing using aseptic techniques.
- Perform endotoxin testing to measure bacterial levels in products.
- Monitor product quality throughout the production process.
- Maintain and update the quality management system; ensure accurate documentation.
- Collaborate on quality improvement initiatives.
- Work within the ALIMS (Automated Laboratory Information Management System) for data management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Quality Assurance) or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in quality assurance or laboratory environment preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data analysis software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
