To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Logistics Analyst located in Flex PTP.

Reporting to the Import/Export Manager the Logistics Analyst role is responsible for ensuring productivity, efficiency and management of various logistics operations. These operations may include, but are not limited to, tracking product shipments, contract negotiations, preparation of budget and cost analysis statements, creation of more efficient logistical planning, and coordination of shipments.

What a typical day looks like:

• Recommend improvements to existing or planned logistics processes.
• Researches for logistics data, using methods such as data mining, data modeling, or cost or benefit research.
• Apply investigation methods or tools to comprehend, predict, or control logistics operations or processes.
• Interpret data on logistics elements, such as availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, strategic sourcing or distribution, supplier management, or transportation.
• Prepare reports on logistics performance measures.
• Write or revise standard operating procedures for logistics processes.
• Confer with logistics management teams to define ways to optimize service levels, maintain supply-chain efficiency, or minimize cost.
• Maintain databases of logistics data and information in accordance with corporate policies.
• Provide ongoing researching in areas such as transportation costs, parts procurement, back orders, or delivery processes.
• Develop or maintain models for logistics uses, such as cost estimating or demand forecasting.
• Monitor industry standards, trends, or practices to identify developments in logistics planning or execution.
• Track product flow from origin to final delivery. Monitor for of vehicles or inventory using logistics systems.
• Define packaging requirements.
• Compute reporting metrics, such as on-time delivery rates and order fulfillment rates.
• Manage systems to ensure that pricing structures adequately reflect logistics costing.
• Contact carriers for rates or schedules.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years related working experience
• Demonstrates a general knowledge of functional concepts and a rudimentary understanding of policies and procedures.
• Good comprehension of investigation and technical processes.
