Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams that build great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking to add a Process Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Provides process time estimation to the quoting team.
  • Simulates process, materials and manufacturing workflow and provides feedback to the process engineer using REFA, MOST, WITNESS or appropriate tools.
  • During NPI, coordinates process planning and setup with respect to takt time, cycle time and direct labor requirements.
  • Reviews results during prototyping and test runs and reports to the NPI and sales team.
  • Analyzes work measurement schedules and work samples to develop labor utilization standards.
  • Analyzes labor utilization, facility layout, and operational data such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment.
  • Recommends methods to improve worker efficiency and reduce waste of materials and services, such as restructuring tasks, reorganizing work flow, relocating workstations and equipment, and acquiring equipment.
  • To coordinate work groups.
  • To actively participate in CFT meetings.
  • Direct contact with clients.

Experience we are looking for to join our team:

  • Engineering or Bachelor's degree completed.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing.
  • Preferably experience in electronics manufacturing.
  • Knowledge in AutoCAD.
  • Experience in NPI, Facilities and Mass production.
  • Experience in Project.
  • Knowledge and experience in layout management.
  • Personnel management.
  • Minitab management.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel.
  • Intermediate-advanced English.
