Job Purpose:
Prepares basic financial reports under direct supervision. Assists in the day-to-day maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger.
Major Responsibilities:
- Prepares, reviews, and adjusts journal entries
- Performs reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
- Participates in Department Efficiency Teams including re-engineering and automation of accounting processes
- Perform analytics on financial information with objective of ensuring information quality
- Reports the company's finances to management, offering suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
- Maintenance of fixed assets – property additions and disposals; personal, real estate and right of use assets
Experience & Requirements
- Candidates should be in process of earning Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting
- Familiarity with US GAAP and IFRS Codification
- Experience with MS Office products and accounting software preferred.
