Now Hiring: On-Site Training Ambassador in Madison, WI

At First Student, our Training Ambassadors are essential to the success of our new hires. They serve as the primary point of contact for communication with candidates, new hires, and internal stakeholders, including local and regional management teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the onsite contact for applicants and new hires.
  • Monitor and ensure attendance during training sessions.
  • Engage candidates throughout the application and hiring process with regular communication, including next steps and compliance requirements.
  • Report pipeline updates and training hours to relevant parties.
  • Coordinate with both onsite and remote teams to ensure the best candidate and new hire experience.
What You Can Expect:
  • Starting wage: $24 per hour
  • Work schedule: Full-time
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, & Vision plans, plus 401k Retirement Savings Plans (Benefits may vary by location or CBA)

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred experience in HR, customer service, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of the transportation/logistics industry is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and able to anticipate needs and potential issues.
  • Positive representation of the brand, demonstrating problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
