Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics

Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS Required; NIH Preferred

General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Patient Diagnoses – general MS and possibly inpatient hospice; Charge experience is a plus; Since this is a smaller facility, MS will be required to have ACLS certification to run any codes until coverage from the ER arrives to the unit; No IV Team, Wound Care will be done virtually, No Cafeteria - Vending machines will have meal options; Parts of Orientation will take place at the Main Augusta campus approximately 3 miles down the road.

Ratio / Census: 1:6; 12 Beds

Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR, Spacelabs

Scrub Color: Royal Blue

RTO: MAX 7 days

Weekends: Every other weekend

Floating: Possibility of floating to the Main Augusta campus located approximately 3 miles down the road.

Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

Memorial Day: Monday, May 27
Independence Day: Thursday, July 4
Labor Day: Monday, September 2
