Medical surgical oncologyLocated on the seventh floor of Building A, the 30-bed unit cares for medical surgical oncology patients. Along with specialty oncology and surgical training, nurses on this unit will obtain their chemotherapy/immunotherapy administration certification within one year of hire.Nurses in this unit must be skilled in helping patients and families navigate all stages of their cancer diagnosis, including end-of-life.
Do not submit if they candidate does not have the below will be an auto reject:•BLS through AHA•Interpretation of dysrhythmias•Management of dysrhythmias•O2 Protocol•Non-invasive airway management•Peripheral line care/management•Isolation precaution/PPE•Rapid response team activation•Computerized documentation•Patient ratios:o RN 1:4-6o CNA 1:6-13 on days and1:10-13 on nights•1 year of experience within the last three years in MS/Tele
