Shift: Nights, 6:30p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week, will accept 48 upon request, EOH

Length: 13 weeks

Weekend/Holiday Requirement: 3 weekends out of every 6 week schedule

Requirements:

• IN /compact license
• Minimum 2 years of strong Tele/M/S experience
• 1 travel assignment
• Trauma level 2 experience
• Skillset: Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation (travelers are required to pass a tele test), Initiate/titrate drips (antiarrhythmics, Heparin, etc.). PIV insertion, chest tube/indwelling drain management, CBI, stables drips (heparin, lasix, protonix), antidysrhythmic (cardizem, tikosyn dosing, amio), nephrostomy tubes
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• NIHSS
• Recent Epic charting experience

• First to float within skillset
• Patient Population: High acuity – Tele/M/S, Cardiac heavy, (Afib with RVR, Afib, flutter, blocks), heart cath without interventions. CHF, COPD, sepsis, BH/CIWA, post ablations, dialysis
• Unit Information: 32 beds. Ratio: Days 1:4-5; NOCs 1:5-7; CN rarely takes patients on days, but takes an assignment on NOC shift.
• Scrub Colors: Navy blue scrubs

• No local candidates (40 mile radius rule)
