Weekend Requirement: 2 out of 6 weekend minimum requirement; may be asked to fill in as needed on additional weekends. If on straight nights/ block scheduling - it will be every other weekend.Holiday Requirement: Yes, will consider RTO if given ahead of time.
Requirements:
- ND license
- 1 year of experience required
- Must have MedSurg, Tele, Peds experience
- BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Prefer previous travel experience, but will consider if strong otherwise
- Charting System: Meditech
- First to float
- Floating Requirements: May be asked to help in other departments if needed. Will not be asked to work outside scope of practice or do something that is not within your knowledge base or experience
- # of Beds: 25 (max census in recent months 12-14 patients)
- Nurse: Patient Ratios: Days: 1:4-5, Nights: 1:5-6 (If a patient is truly critical, the nurse will only have 1:1 or 1:2)
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Peds to Geriatrics. Wide variety of illness/injury, chronic and acute. Commonly admit respiratory dx, infectious dx, GI, ETOH intoxication/withdrawal, liver disease, AKI, DM, DKA, swingbed/rehab, occasional social admit
- Scrub Color: Any color scrub color
- Radius Rule: 50 miles
