Requirements:

• IL License
• 2 years of experience
• ACLS and BLS (AHA, no HeartCode), PALS
• MAB, NIH, TNCC preferred

Variable days needed - 2 to 3 days per week.ER RN for fast-paced oncology ER. Oncology-focused but open to community for emergencies of any kind. Walk-in but not trauma center. Glideoscope for intubation, ultrasound IV technology used. Hospitalist available (days), ER Physician 24/7. Provider support includes interpretation services, lift teams, pharmacy, physical therapy, radiology, rapid response teams, respiratory services, social services, and unit secretary.
2 years' experience REQUIRED. Night shift, 3x12s, 1. Self schedule w/manager balance. Pyxis med system, EPIC documentation, SBAR communication. Pewter scrubs (not provided). 36hr orientation (minimum, more if needed).
Certifications REQUIRED: ACLS and BLS (AHA, no HeartCode), PALS
Certifications preferred: MAB, NIH, TNCC
Skills/experience REQUIRED: General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi; Non Trauma Emergency Department; Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response (Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG); Arterial line management; Blood Product Administration; Central line care/management; Phlebotomy; Starting IVs; Medications (Continuous IV paralytics, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, IV vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration); CVA; Traumatic Brain Injury; Manage / apply splints; Ortho-Trauma; Pediatrics (Abdominal pain, Asthma, Burns, Epiglottitis, Head injury, Hyperglycemia, Identifying and reporting abuse, Infections, Mental/behavioral health conditions, Near drowning, Poison ingestion, Respiratory infections, Seizures, Skin Disorders, Spinal cord injury, Urinary tract infections); Acute psychosis; Drug overdose; Managing violent behavior; Psychiatric Hold; Suicidal patient; Acute psychosis; Drug overdose; Managing violent behavior; Psychiatric Hold; Suicidal patient; Gunshot wounds; Traumatic amputation; Isolation Precautions; Triage
