Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - RRT Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Weekend shifts per contract: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week periodMust be available to work 2 out of 3 holidays Requirements:
  • CA license
  • 2 years' of recent pediatric ICU experience from a children's hospital
  • Experience must be from a dedicated children's facility, not a general or adult facility with experience from a peds unit
  • Strong pediatric ICU skill set; therapists who can jump in and work across at least 2 of the 3 ICUs including a Level IV NICU, Level I PICU, and/or the Cardiothoracic ICU
  • Experience with trachs and vents, suctioning and oxygen. No specialty or blood gases needed
  • AHA BLS
  • AHA PALS
  • AHA NRP- Must be Advanced; Essential no longer accepted. Must have in hand or registered for an Advanced class in which they will have in hand
  • RRT national credential required
  • RRT-NPS preferred
Others:
  • Patient Population: Pediatric care from acute care on the floors, pulmonary floor (treating pts with asthma, bronchiolitis, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, cystic fibrosis, tracheostomy-ventilated support), trauma, Medical (treating pts with bronchitis, asthma, pneumonia), PICU (treating mostly intubated pts and therapies including specialty gases heliox/iNO), NICU and CTICU where heart transplants are performed. High acuity Level 4 NICU. High acuity patients on floors
  • Flu shot required
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Not Required

RTO Standard: 6 days max. All RTO required up front, no exceptions*Must be available to work 2 out of 3 holidays
