Location: Remote, Eastern Standard Time, open to having candidate by hybrid to Jersey City or Atlanta offices (could be flexible with office). 

Job Overview: Data helps create the insights that drive growth, operating efficiencies, and an overall competitive advantage at EPIC. EPIC is seeking a passionate full-time Procurement Data Analyst that will work within our Finance team.  The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions, with a focus on procurement activities and strategies. To be considered, a candidate must have proven work experience as a Data Analyst and a solid understanding of procurement processes and best practices. This is a new role that offers a chance to apply your data analysis skills to support and enhance the procurement function, and to grow your career within a dynamic and expanding Procurement team.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Partners independently and with stakeholders to translate data and information into actionable insights and recommendations for procurement optimization and cost reduction
  • Reporting and analyzing data from accounts payable, travel and expense, contracts, suppliers, and other sources related to procurement activities
  • Developing dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate findings and trends to the head of procurement and other stakeholders
  • Continuously improves the data volume, velocity, variety, and veracity
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation based on data analysis

Job Responsibilities:

  • Aggregates and performs data analysis on requests from project teams or senior leadership.
  • Integrates data from multiple data sources or functional areas, ensures data accuracy and integrity, and updates data as needed.
  • Interprets data to identify business trends, conduct root cause analysis of business problems, or suggest areas for process improvement.
  • Supports Data Governance and Data Privacy activities
  • Provides data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize procurement performance, efficiency, and savings
  • Supports the design and implementation of new procurement processes and systems
  • Develops and maintains procurement dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators and track progress against targets
  • Collaborates with procurement team and other business units to identify and resolve data issues and gaps

Education & Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in procurement or supply chain management
  • A bachelor's degree in business, economics, statistics, or a related field; or equivalent work experience in procurement and data analysis
  • Experience with procurement systems and tools is a plus

Required Skills:

  • To be considered, a candidate must have proven work experience as a Data Analyst and a solid understanding of procurement processes and best practices
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant volumes of data with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and charts
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices
  • Efficient with regards to time management
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines with short turnaround times
  • Ability to collaborate with team members to produce results
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel when required

The national average salary for this role is $90,000 to $100,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
