JOB OVERVIEW:

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a great team. We are looking for an experienced insurance agency management system trainer (Business Applications Trainer) to train internal as well as new employees. This requires knowledge of how to train adult learners so that there is a successful exchange and intake of knowledge. This role will work across all levels of the organization growing our in-house systems capabilities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

A detailed list of job duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Help develop creative courses that present the key messages in a way that makes sense and that will engage the learners.
  • Presents professionally via zoom, or in person, with confidence.
  • Manage timelines and due dates and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Evaluate and recommend training content improvement by analyzing performance gaps in users and provide recommendations to enhance user experience.
  • Evaluate and understand agency management systems' (Sagitta, ImageRight, BenefitPoint) functionality and configuration to meet business needs.
  • Identify interrelationships of issues to find resolution that may apply to multiple offices.
  • Assist offices with ad hoc training requests.
  • Using business process knowledge, proactively look for opportunities for system or workflow enhancements.
  • Fosters open communications and share knowledge openly.
  • Assist with creating training materials for new and existing training sessions including, but not limited to, onsite for online seminar style opportunities, user manuals, getting started documents, tips & tricks, and investigation and use of learning technologies to support training activities and user satisfaction.
  • Participate in the development of procedures and controls related to support policies, including user security and agency management best practices.

 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • REQUIRED: Previous experience in the insurance industry
  • REQUIRED: Experience with insurance agency management systems and previous experience training others on use
  • 3+ years' experience training adult learners
  • Must be available to travel nationally up to 35%
  • Strong relationship-building and leadership skills
  • Ability to act as a project manager and effectively manage resources to complete training projects and assignments
  • Ability to clearly and effectively instruct others
  • Demonstrates effective organization and workload management skills
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and is able to work independently

 

COMPENSATION:

The national average hourly rate for this role is $40.00 - $42.00/hr in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
