The partnership's assets include approximately 50,000 miles of pipelines; 260 million barrels of storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals; and 14 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity.

The Sr. Coordinator will also be responsible for:

  •  Review and conduct auditing of outside and internal labs, maintaining required documentation.
  • Develop and implement standardized training for lab technicians and, as applicable, field technicians.
  • Maintain company analytical standards including auditing the Company Quality program.
  • Work with commercial organizations to define, review and approve contractual requirements and product specifications.
  • Review laboratory needs to ensure consistent, accurate and reliable analytical results.
  • Manage company product specifications including routine auditing and updating of specifications.
  • Remain current with industry standards and organizations.
  • Provide technical support as required to field locations.
  • Manage corporate round robin programs for natural gas, high purity ethane, EP mixture, demethanized mixture, and methanol.
  • Support refined products proficiency testing programs.
  • Assist with products blending and optimization.
  • Research and advise on process chemical/chemistry.
  • Actively participate in GPA and ASTM.


Requirements

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  •  BS degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is required.
  • 10-15 years' experience in laboratory application is required.
  • Experience in laboratory management is preferred.
  • Extensive experience with statistical processes is preferred.
  • Active participation in appropriate industry organizations is preferred.
  • 5-10 years' experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
