Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals. Our services include: natural gas gathering, treating, processing, transportation and storage; NGL transportation, fractionation, storage and import and export terminals; crude oil gathering, transportation, storage and terminals; petrochemical and refined products transportation, storage and terminals; and a marine transportation business that operates primarily on the United States inland and Intracoastal Waterway systems. The partnership's assets include approximately 50,000 miles of pipelines; 260 million barrels of storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals; and 14 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity.

The Marine Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing a fleet of vessels under the guidance of the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Providing efficient marine dispatch support.
  • Coordinating and resolving any issues or problems reported by the boats, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate departments for resolution.
  • Setting up and closing out all jobs for the vessel group.
  • Reviewing daily boat logs, addressing any issues that arise, and handling purchase orders.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely communication with customers regarding the status of vessels working for them through email and phone calls.
  • Ensuring accurate transmission of orders received from customers to relevant parties.
  • Assisting with operations on a 12-hour, 7-day per week basis when on call or available for consultation, including scheduled days off.


Requirements

    The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications: 
  • A High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Maritime, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in dispatch operations or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of dispatch operations and marine vessel operations is preferred.
  • Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations, such as percentages, ratios, and proportions, is required.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word and Excel, are required.
  • Ability to assume responsibility, adaptability, and multitask effectively under stressful conditions is required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals, teams, customers, and stakeholders of the business at different levels of the organization, is required.
  • Ability to adjust communication style to effectively persuade, negotiate, and engage parties based on the audience and circumstances.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to complete tasks quickly and efficiently.
  • Demonstrated conscientiousness, dependability, and commitment to the role, team, and company.
  • Availability to assist with operations on a 12-hour, 7-day per week basis when on call, or to provide consultation during scheduled days off.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
  • Must satisfactorily pass background and drug screen.
