Position DescriptionENSCO is seeking a technical training developer and coordinator for its technical training services at the Transportation Technology Center (TTC) in Pueblo, CO. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and marketing comprehensive training programs for classroom and field-based training activities at the TTC. This position will report to the Executive Site Director and support the creation and execution of training classes conducted for Federal Railroad Administration Office of Railroad Safety and Transportation Security Administration personnel, other federal agencies and commercial customers. This position will maintain a short- and long-term schedule of classrooms, instructors, and other resources necessary for training. The individual will coordinate with site resource scheduler. Experience supporting training for transportation industry personnel is required.
The successful candidate will perform a wide variety of functions including:
- Design, author and deliver training courses for transportation industry personnel as well as for personnel entering transportation-related fields
- Create learning evaluation tools (e.g. tests, quizzes, surveys) and other training-related material for classes to include but not be limited to lecture notes, learning guides, supplemental resources related to the course
- Work with customers to design specific courses to meet defined needs
- Marketing of current and future classes to federal and commercial clients
- Scheduling and arranging for the positioning of government owned assets such as motor vehicles and railroad equipment for use in training courses
- Scheduling of instructors and role players to participate in training exercises
- Oversight of production of printed material to be used in training courses
- Coordination of ordering of supplies for training activities
- Updating training records for attendees
- Documenting course support activities with charge codes for entry into billing systems.

Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in education or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years' of relevant experience
- Prior railroad experience, preferably with creating FRA submissions
- Experience in coordinating training activities including arranging for classroom and field-based training efforts.
- Strong organizational, follow through and time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to react well under pressure in high-stressed situations; accept responsibility for own actions.
- Ability to build professional and courteous relationships with your colleagues, supervisors, and direct reports.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse interdisciplinary team
- Ability to safely climb a 15-foot-high ladder
Railroad regulations require that the selected candidate must pass an e-RAILSAFE security background check and online safety tests to work on railroad properties. Wearing safety equipment (hardhat, steel-toe boots, protective vest, and protective eyeglasses) when working on railroad properties is also a requirement. ENSCO will provide all necessary safety equipment
