We are seeking an experienced Space Systems Senior Intelligence and Operations Officer to support Space Systems Command Battle Management Command, Control, and Communications (SSC/SZ) portfolio. The position is available in Colorado Springs, CO.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Perform space acquisitions, engineering, operations, and technical advice and assistance 
- Provide analytical and operational engineering support to current and future developmental and operational units
- Provide support for data and signal collection, processing, storage, archiving, analysis, and lessons learned to support test, on-going operations, and future concept developments upon request
- Develop draft intelligence requirements and staffing packages, provide advisement on intelligence reports, translate program requirements into intelligence needs and requirements, and recommend courses of action to support mission-related activities
- Utilize acquisition and intelligence community standards and processes to support the program manager in evaluating tradeoffs between cost, schedule, and performance

Qualifications

- Advanced understanding of Defense Department OSINT policies and regulations
- Recent participation in interagency intelligence working groups preferred

Requirements

-BS/BA with more than 12 years of experience; MS/MA with more than 10 years of experience
- Expert in DoD and Air Force Intelligence capabilities, processes, and procedures
- Demonstrates ability to organize and execute initial establishment of operational Air Force space control unit (including bed down, training, and transition from acquisitions)
- Experience supporting classified space operations
- Facilitate, manage, and engage with stakeholders to aid in Ops/Acq integration
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and writing) skills. 
- Must have experience in using critical thinking to prepare written reports and presentations for decision makers.
- MUST HAVE AT A MINIMUM, A CURRENT TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE AND BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A TS/SCI CLEARANCE, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU DO NOT MEET THIS REQUIREMENT.
