Job Summary:
Provides safe, efficient and courteous care for all persons requiring transportation in Englewood Hospital and Medical owned or operated ambulances. Places patients on stretcher and loads stretcher into ambulance. Ensures safety of the patient at all times during the course of transportation. Supervises and assists other healthcare personnel with care during the transfer as well as with patient preparation. Must ascertain the need for specialized equipment. Ensures that all patient(s), passenger(s), and equipment are properly secured in the vehicle. Uses knowledge and skill in the management of Specialty Care patients. Responsible for the overall clinical management of Specialty Care patients in cooperation with Medical Command staff and the patient's sending and/or receiving physicians during transport. Completes all necessary paperwork legibly and completely. Follows all EHMC and EHMC EMS policies and procedures.

- Bachelor's Degree preferred

- NJ RN License
