We are seeking a Procurement Operations Manager to lead the end-to-end procurement process. The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record for strategic alignment with organizational goals, effective team leadership, and effectively negotiating healthcare contracts. The role is responsible for preparing, negotiating, and reviewing company contracts/RFPs, including sales, purchases, and business partnerships. Participates and leads Value Analysis committee(s) with a focus on improved clinical and financial outcomes. Establishes and maintains strong key stakeholder relationships. Utilizes best practices, innovative approaches, and KPIs to drive improvements and optimization in the department. Manages a team of buyers for optimal results and maximum efficiency.

Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm

 

Job Essentials

  • A minimum of 3-5 years' proven contract negotiation experience required.
  • 3 years' management experience required.
  • 2-3 years' experience in healthcare procurement preferred.
  • Financial operations and data and analysis skills required.
  • Analytical and creative thinking skills required.
  • Effective communication skills – verbal and written required.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems; Infor/Lawson or PeopleSoft is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Ability to work on-site 5 days/week required.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field preferred
